Ginger
Ginger contains up to 3% essential oils that produce a unique fragrance. Ginger is used as a flavouring in cooking. It can be boiled and blended into the tea and ginger tea to be sweetened by adding honey. It is often the condiment in Chinese cuisine, especially seafood and lamb.
Turmeric
It is widely used in cooking as a natural colouring and beautifying foods. Eating turmeric will help the digestive process and reduce gas in the stomach. Turmeric is anointed with oil skin. It can also be used as a tonic when mixed with nectar and sesame oil. Other benefits of turmeric is helpful menstrual problems, increased red blood cell production. Turmeric mixed in water can be used to treat itching, sores, aching knees, joints, and rashes.
Galangal used in Malaysia and Indonesia as condiments and spices. It has a pungent taste like ginger and pepper. Compared with ginger, galangal has a firmer texture than fresh ginger and less fibrous skin. It has the smell of resin that is soft, like a pine tree. Galangal is a spice used to deodorise fish and meat. Nutritional supplement appetite, cleanse the blood, dilute phlegm, stimulates muscles and have aphrodisiac properties. It is also used as medicinal plants and medicines to strengthen energy.
